BBC-Test

There are so many different reviews for restaurants. But what do they mean when being compared? What does it mean if a restaurant gets a positive review for Tapas and another one gets negative reviews for a pizza?

With our BBC-Test we standardize all reviews. You simply order bread, butter and cold water. Then you create your review based on that order. Everyone else does the same. And that makes all reviewed restaurants comparable.

The App

With our App for Android and iOS you create the reviews. Record a video of your order and takes shots of bread, butter, water and the bill. You can put likes and comments on reviews from others, same as others will comment and put likes on your reviews.

How it started

We checked a new restaurant, same as we did often before. After finishing our dinner, we asked each other what we think about that restaurant. Everyone had a different opinion on that. And so the discussion went to how it would be possible to get matter-of-fact, neutral, standardized restaurant reviews. Then someone joked that everyone would need to order bread, butte and cold water to be able to compare. With that, the idea for BBC-Test was born.

Our Logo

Our Logo is ready! We took butter, bread and a glas of water into the “C”, which looks like a plate. That is how our test works and how we get standardized review. Just simple and straight forward, isn’t it?
